Gotta say, the breakfast was wicked awesome! The fruit smoothie and veggie option? Top-notch. We had ample space in the room, and the en-suite was perfect. Victor and Geraldine really knew their stuff, giving us the local scoop that made our trip pop!

A breakfast to remember
Waking up to the scent of homemade sourdough bread was a delight! The room was spacious, with a comfortable king bed and cozy sitting area overlooking the garden. Geraldine and Victor, the hosts, were always willing to share their knowledge of local hikes, making each day better than the last.

Just spent two nights in the King Suite at Hazelwood Lodge. The breakfast was very nice with fresh, local ingredients. Victor and Geraldine were super helpful, sharing awesome tips about local spots. One downside? Walking into town at night felt a bit dodgy without a proper path. Still, a fantastic stay overall!

Positive, I had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and well-furnished, with comfy bedding and a great coffee maker. Darren, the host, served an really good breakfast with homemade dishes. They even emailed me pre-arrival with dinner suggestions, which really helped us enjoy our meals. 😊

missingWrote a review on Oct 16risky locationpoor arrangements
the location was a bit risky for a night stroll, not exactly what i expected from a supposedly upscale lodge. also, the taxi arrangements were a nice thought, but what about a complimentary welcome gift? i almost gave a good review, but a king suite should have at least a functioning mirror in prime view, right?

missingWrote a review on Sept 19garden viewhomemade breakfaststair access
The room featured a sitting area overlooking a beautiful garden, adding a nice touch to the experience. Breakfast included amazing homemade sourdough bread and locally sourced ingredients, making every bite worthwhile.
Access to the upper floors can be a hassle, as there's no elevator, which makes dragging heavy bags a chore. The nearest restaurant required a 20-minute drive, although taxi arrangements were made, it broke the flow of spontaneity.

Great room with flat-screen TV and kettle, but the road in is quite tricky.
